2004 Championship Event
This year’s Texas BEST Regional Championship will be held in SMU’s Moody Coliseum on November 12-13.

Hotels
Making Reservations
Make your reservations directly with the hotel of your choice for the Championship. Room blocks have been reserved at the locations listed below for Friday and Saturday nights, November 12 – 13.
When you call the hotel:
- Ask for rooms reserved for “Texas BEST Championship” to receive the group rate.
- Provide the hotel with a credit card number. All hotels will require this to hold your reservation and as a guarantee against lost items or damages.
- Provide the hotel with a list of those staying in the rooms. Rooming lists are required by all hotels to hold reservations and must be submitted by the deadline dates. Hotels will provide copies of rooming lists to Texas BEST. Failure to submit rooming lists by stated deadlines will likely result in cancellation of room reservations, with penalty fees applied.
Canceling before the Deadline Date
To Texas BEST schools: Please be considerate of the needs of other teams and book only the number of rooms your team is expected to use. Drop any unneeded rooms before the deadline so that others have the availability they need at the event rate and in close proximity to Moody Coliseum.
Canceling Reservations after the Deadline Date
Reservations canceled after the deadline date will be subject to the penalty fees of that hotel.
Texas BEST attempts to make enough rooms available for everyone to reserve as many rooms as they wish. However, blocks with hotels are based on the number actually used the previous year. In the past, the dropping of rooms at the last minute, on site, or as no-shows has impacted the Texas BEST block the following year. In some instances, it has created hardship for some teams trying to find an adequate number of rooms. Please assist us with these efforts to ensure full availability for everyone this year.
Advance Check-In
Check with your hotel for advance check-in options that may be available if you arrive before the regular check-in time.
Curfew
All Texas BEST students must be in their hotel rooms by midnight. This curfew and other policy items of the Texas BEST Code of Student Conduct will be monitored at all hotels.
Conduct
Hotels reserve the right to refuse continued or future service to any Texas BEST team because of inappropriate conduct of individuals representing the team/school.
